<em>Light Detection and Ranging<\/em> (LiDAR, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s), una herramienta de teledetecci\u00f3n que utiliza pulsos l\u00e1ser para analizar la atm\u00f3sfera con gran precisi\u00f3n y conocer de manera rigurosa la altura de las nubes, la presencia de polvo, la contaminaci\u00f3n y la distribuci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas en el aire, \u00a0fue inaugurado el mi\u00e9rcoles 29 de abril del presente a\u00f1o, el Laboratorio M\u00f3vil Cient\u00edfico de Monitoreo Atmosf\u00e9rico\u00a0 en\u00a0 el Aeropuerto Internacional de El Alto que estar\u00e1 bajo la responsabilidad cient\u00edfica t\u00e9cnica de investigadores del Laboratorio de F\u00edsica de la Atm\u00f3sfera del Instituto de Investigaciones F\u00edsicas de la Universidad Mayor de San \/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>El laboratorio fue instalado en un ambiente cedido por Navegaci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea y Aeropuertos Bolivianos (NAABOL) permitir\u00e1 a esta instituci\u00f3n estatal anticipar riesgos meteorol\u00f3gicos, mejorar la seguridad de las operaciones a\u00e9reas y optimizar la toma de decisiones en condiciones clim\u00e1ticas complejas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El sistema (LiDAR) es una tecnolog\u00eda de teledetecci\u00f3n activa que mide la velocidad y direcci\u00f3n del viento, informaci\u00f3n esencial para mejorar la previsi\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica y apoyar decisiones en operaciones a\u00e9reas, especialmente durante despegues y aterrizajes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos equipos permiten monitorear la dispersi\u00f3n de contaminantes y humo en tiempo real, fortaleciendo la respuesta ante eventos ambientales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 continua la altura de la base de las nubes y la presencia de aerosoles, proporcionando datos permanentes para el monitoreo atmosf\u00e9rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el acto de inauguraci\u00f3n del Laboratorio M\u00f3vil Cient\u00edfico de Monitoreo Atmosf\u00e9rico participaron autoridades de la Universidad Mayor de San Andr\u00e9s (UMSA), Navegaci\u00f3n A\u00e9rea y Aeropuertos Bolivianos (NAABOL), cient\u00edficos de Francia, Alemania, Suiza, Finlandia e Italia e investigadores del Laboratorio de F\u00edsica de la Atm\u00f3sfera de la
